He's Smart Too....

Parkers Authors Tea was also held last week.  The 4th grade tea was a bit more formal starting with the teacher providing information about the writing strategies used.  Special guests were invited and each child was able to read their favorite pieces.  Parker's favorite writing piece was his basketball poem.  We were very impressed with his writing talent.  I love these special events and I love it when they get the opportunity to showcase their work.

And of course...his folder to hold his writing work is decorated with a "G" for the Dawgs.
