Fashion Icons

Grayson and Parker were in a fashion show for Belk last weekend. They of course did great! Love watching my little ones in front of crowds, they are both so at ease. I love their self confidence... Makes a momma proud.

Senior Prom 2013

Tyler's senior prom was this weekend and was alot of fun for us as well as him. Of course Moms always love dressing up their children and taking pictures even if their babies are almost 18 years old. His date was beautiful and the weather could not have been more perfect. He drove my dads car and looked so handsome as he drove away to pick up Lexi. They chose Barnsley Gardens as the location for pictures and I have to say it was a great choice. The ruins were a great backdrop for such a handsome couple. Don ended up skipping pictures at Barnsley and joined me for the Senior walk later that evening. Kanon had a baseball game on the same day and Don had just gotten back from it. Grayson and Parker were in a Belk Fashion Show on the same day as well. More details about all of that to follow. I am so blessed with such amazing children and so blessed to be a part of special occassions like Prom. Lora (Ashlyn's mom and Ben's date) and I kidded for months about how WE couldn't wait for OUR prom, hehe! Ok...I can't wait to share pictures so here goes!

Country Girl

Grayson is finally getting to take guitar lessons. She has wanted to forever. It's really neat to see her take on any new challenge. Funny part is though... After her first lesson, her instructor came out and told me we had bought her a right handed guitar and she is left handed. I had no idea there was a difference. I guess I still have a lot to learn about guitars..haha!

CHS Alumni Game

This years baseball fundraiser was a CHS Alumni Game.  Don was recruited to coach the purple team, which by the way ended up winning, and had a blast reuniting with past players from his days as a purple hurricane coach.  It was really cold, but that didn't hinder the fun.  Kanon enjoys seeing his dad play a part in Canes Baseball, even if it was just for a day now.  I know Don's passion is for coaching and he would probably rather be doing that than anything else, but he does what he needs to do to provide for us and that's exactly why we LOVE him.

Still looking good in that purple!
