Blessings!!!!

We are blessed beyond measure!!! I feel the need to proclaim that since I haven't been acting that way or feeling that way for the last few days. All of life's craziness has gotten me down a little, but when I step back and look at things, I realize my problems and misfortunes are small compared to what some are facing.  My car is in the repair shop this week and hopefully will be fixed by Saturday.  My dad has been kind enough to let me drive his car saving me from added expenses of car rental cause you know I can't be without a car for even a day.  See just listen to me, I am put out cause I am having to be without my car for a few days when there are some who would give anything to have a car to repair.  I think I am just tired, maybe not physically tired but emotionally tired.  I am tired of not being the person God wants me to be.  I should be praising him in the midst of daily life, not just on Sunday.  I really do have a great life.  I have a husband who loves me, a great father to our children, I have 4 beautiful, smart kids, I have a job that allows me to work from home on my schedule and I could go on and on.....So here's to me giving myself an attitude adjustment.  Thank you Lord for my crazy life, I love it and I will praise you in the midst of the busyness and I promise to not lose focus on what's really important.

I did enjoy an amazing 2 day quick trip to Savannah to see my husband get Regional Athletic Director of the Year.  I am so proud of him.

Also, since last time I blogged, Kanon had his last formal chorus concert as a middle schooler. Excuse the blurry pictures....I am still learning how to work my new camera and I have a long way to go still as you can see...

Little League baseball season has also started and Parker is playing his little heart out making an amazing catch in one of the first games holding on to a win for his team.

And....I almost forgot, our sweet teenager got his first job.  He is the scorekeeper for Cartersville Major League.  We are so proud. I can already see a difference in him with what a little responsibility brings.  We are in the process of looking for him a car. The big 16 is just around the corner.

Blast from the past....

I wish I had been blogging ever since the the first day of my children's lives.  But.....since I haven't been, I am going to start inserting in snip-its from the past on occasion.  It's also so much fun to reminisce.
A story from the past.....
Grayson wanted to be a cheerleader and Parker wanted to play upward so Don and I decided to both coach.  That's right...me coach.  I did the cheerleaders and Don took care of the basketball team.  I loved being there with my children but I promise its my last time coaching Grayson.  She is a wonderful little girl and is all cooperative and smiles for other people, but she did not love cheerleading and I don't think she loved her mother coaching.  She would whine the entire game every Saturday about how bored she was.  Now, would she have done that with someone else? Absolutely not!  On the other hand, Don had a winning basketball team and Parker had a great season.
