Her Favorite Thing......

My sweet girl loves her some horses.  She would spend all day everyday playing, feeding and riding if she could.  Grayson's dream is someday for us to own a horse farm.  Not sure its her daddy's dream though.  I'm pretty certain he would end up doing alot of the work taking care of "her horses". I must say she is beautiful with them and we are so thankful for Scott and Lora who let Grayson pretend their horses are part hers.  She loves Bella and Sissy!

And....Summer Continues

Summer is my favorite time of the year.  I love relaxed schedules and no homework and of course the warm weather.  This years HOT weather has been a bit much though.  100+ degrees most days...wow! Our fun continues in the midst of the heat.  The braves game with friends and my dad was a blast.  Our seats were not wonderful, but our tickets were fundraiser tickets sold by Cartersville Baseball.  We were high up but surrounded by friends which makes for a fun evening.  I think my dad even enjoyed hanging out with all of us.  Theirs nothing better than a baseball game preceded by dinner at the Varsity with friends.

Another hot day in the 'ville included a trip down the Etowah. However, our 3 "tour" turned into 6 hours.  Tiring but very fun.  I loved being surrounded by Gods beautiful creation and the stillness, but most of all I loved the uninterrupted time with my family.  No television, video games or cell phones....just each other laughing, talking and splashing.  I didn't take my camera, but did manage one picture before we started with my phone, of course Grayson was the only one willing to take a picture. :)

Not only are the spontaneous trips and activities fun during the summer, but I love the holiday celebrations.  One of my favorites is the annual Warner 4th of July Party and this year did not disappoint.  We always have such a great time hanging out with such sweet friends. This year for some crazy reason I never got my camera out of the car, but just randomly used my phone for some shots.  That doesn't make for good picture quality or good pictures for the blog, but anyway some sweet memories are captured.

1st Annual Neighborhood Parade

What a cute little tradition that was started this year.  The neighborhood children all decked out in red, white and blue to celebrate our independence.  Grayson decorated her scooter and Parker walked with his good friend Allie.  We also had golf carts, bicycles and battery powered little tikes rides all looking festive.  The parade ended with cooling off in the pool for those who wanted to swim. Some of the homeowners sat out in their yards to wave at the children as they went by.  It was still warm out at 7:30, but the  kids didn't seem to mind.  Who doesn't love a parade?
